Editorial Note

Platycrater arguta is now Hydrangea platyarguta. A completely new and much enlarged account of Hydrangea is being prepared for publication in 2024. It will include all species previously placed in Decumaria, Dichroa, Pileostegia, Platycrater and Schizophragma.
