A forestry hybrid with a long straight trunk under suitable conditions.
SUN TZU 105® is a forestry hybrid involving P. elongata, P. fortunei and P. tomentosa, and was one of nine clones trialled at Hillsborough in Northern Ireland (Olave et al. 2015). This experiment proved a failure, but SUN TZU 105® remains one of the most promising clones for plantations in areas with longer and warmer summers.
