A genus of some half a dozen species of herbs or sub-shrubs. Leaves alternate, entire; corolla tubular to funnel-shaped, purple, blue, or yellow; stamens exserted. The genus was named after Count J. G. Moltke, a Danish naturalist who died in 1818.
