A genus of two species, one in New Zealand and the other (C. formosus) in Australia. The common name in New Zealand of ‘parrot’s bill’ refers to the shape of the curved keel petals. The generic name is derived from the Greek and means ‘glory flower’; and it is not so inappropriate.
