From the Supplement (Vol.V)

This genus has been transferred to Elliottia, in which the species described (the only member of Cladothamnus) takes the name E. pyroliflora (Bong.) Brim & P.F. Stevens (see Journ. Arn. Arb., Vol. 59 (1978), pp. 311–41).
