'Wells Golden'

Cedrus deodara 'Aurea Wells'

A broad-conical tree, usually with multiple stems, more vigorous than ‘Aurea’, to 4 x 2.5 m in ten years. The foliage is vivid golden-yellow. Originally found as a seedling in Wells Nursery, Mt. Vernon, Washington State, and available from 1972. (Jacobson 1996; Auders & Spicer 2012).
