A broad selection of dense, bushy growth, the branches pendulous. The new growth in spring is pure-white, contrasting with the typical green of older needles. Found at Castlewellan, Northern Ireland, before 1899. ( Kr├╝ssmann 1985; Auders & Spicer 2012).
