Buckleya

A genus of about four species, one N. American, the others E. Asiatic, living partly or wholly as parasites on the roots of other trees. The parasitic habit is characteristic of nearly all members of the Santalaceae, including our native representative Thesium humifusum, the bastard toad-flax.
