This tree is derived from Acer ‘Silver Cardinal’. A tree to c. 6 m, Bark striated white, branchlets and young branches red. Leaves white and pink variegated (Armitage et al. 2014Edwards & Marshall 2019). Distributed in cultivation only.

RHS Hardiness Rating H5

Conservation status Not evaluated (NE)

A sport of ‘Silver Cardinal’ and therefore not likely a selection of Acer × conspicuum, ‘Red Flamingo’ makes a small tree that is reportedly happy in full sun (Junker’s Nursery 2017).
